Title: what to do with mirror stalks? - bar end mirrors
Post by: Oly on October 11, 2018, 02:08:39 PM
Just fitted a set of bar end mirrors. obviously ive removed the standard mirrors, just wondering if anyone knew of a cap or something to cover up the mess left by removing the standard mirrors?
especially the side that has the brake fluid tank on it

I used M10x1.5x16mm allen button dome socket head screws from e-bay

Doesn't look too bad. Any screw is not going to eliminate them. Find some plastic caps in home improvement stores or online

I used a plastic cap on the left and a flat hex nut with a thick flat washer in Black for the brake reservoir side.  That jiggle on the reservoir was driving me nuts.  Now she’s right as a drum and the mirror mounts aren’t as noticeable.  Love my open field of view using the Rhinomoto bar ends with CRG Arrow mirrors.
