Good Morning from sunny Scarbados
on: March 18, 2021, 05:24:41 AM
Helloooooooooo All

I'm new to the BMW world having just bought a S1000r. Any hints, tips or seriously sound advice would be most welcome.

Looking forward to the summer like all the rest of you.

Only one question so far, what security does the bike carry for insurance purposes. Have heard Datatag comes as standard?????

Thank you in advance

Stay safe  :062:

Mine has Datatag and immobiliser fitted. Think this standard across the range. Also mine is fitted with BMW alarm which was an optional extra.
Enjoy the coastal road to flamborough this summer. 😄

Good Morning Chinook

Thanks for the reply and yes I'll have a blast down the Flamborough Road. :169:

Much appreciated for clarifying the Datatag and immobiliser as being standard.

Worth noting Datatag registration  on all pre-used bikes has to be transferred from the previous owner to the new owners name.
Cost me 15 for my bike a couple of years ago
