I find the big 1000 on the side a bit naff. The R could look great if it was a little more in keeping with the colour of the panels. Maybe a little more bronze/magnesium to tie in the clutch cover and subframe could work well?

Been playing in Photoshop. Lose the S1000 on the lower part of the main fairing and enlarge the R to go across the two panels instead. Also lose the yellow and replace with a nice dark grey instead.
What do you reckon?

Dealer confirmed that they have informed BMW of the number of pre-orders they have. They do not expect the system to allow them to spec individually until March and expect them to arrive in May.

Morning 👋
I had a call from my BMW dealership yesterday and they said my build date is in two weeks, the same as their demo bike. They said a delivery date could be as early as March 🤞🏼

Wow, that's insanely fast. When BMW said the bike would launch in May I wasn't expecting customer bikes to arrive until beginning of June at the earliest. Fingers crossed yours actually arrives that early! Might also mean there might be a press launch fairly soon. Gonna keep my fingers crossed for that too.
