Soon to be New Owner

Hi all. I have a test ride booked soon, after which I hope to be riding home on a nearly new bike. I currently ride a Honda CB600F that I've had for the last ride. I think it's time to upgrade to something special.
This will be my first BMW, and first (nearly) new bike. I wondered how much room for negotiation there is when you buy from BMW?
The bike I'm looking at doesn't have any extras, and I wondered if I could get them to fit the HP adjustable levers and a screen.

I just bought a new unregistered bike 3 weeks ago and the deal was incredible.
I still chanced my arm and asked for levers and a free first service, got the latter and they agreed to fit levers I supplied FOC.
I take you are trading in? I'd be pushing for some goodies/servicing thrown in. New model just out, December in a few days, global pandemic, you should be negotiating a fantastic deal.
They will give you trade price for yours, so any margin on their bike is pure profit and there will be a lot of it, negotiate very hard indeed, be polite, but be prepared to walk away also, they have one bike to sell you, plenty others out there.

Bought mine two years ago around the same time of year. Got a tail tidy and first service thrown in.
Lots of variables depending on the trade in price and how you finance the bike.
However good time of year to buy a bike and with a new model coming push hard for the extras.

Thanks for the advice guys.
The salesman I spoke to was keen on PX, so I have sent him some photos of my bike. He was keen on pushing finance too, mentioned it guarantees the future value but I said we can have a chat we meet.
Having a hard time choosing between Black and Marino Blue!

He is talking PCP if talking future value.
You are at the early stages of negotiations, what ever he offers for your bike you want £500 more, then ask for some goodies too.
San marino blue is the way to go.

You have sold me on the blue, it looks gorgeous.
I have my test ride next week, and a choice of buying 2 bikes. One has the BMW alarm fitted, and the other is a little more in price with lower mileage but no alarm. Can the alarm be retrofitted? Or should I be going with the alarmed bike straight off the bat?

Ask the dealer to retrofit the alarm as part of the deal, or you will buy the other bike.

A deal has been struck! I'll be getting a unregistered bike with alarm and tracker etc in San Marino blue, the last one apparently. Really looking forward to picking it up next week. Thanks for all the advice!
