2016 RR Header on a 2017R?
on: November 18, 2020, 01:19:53 AM
Not looking for noise, just want to get rid of that huge breadbox under the bike. Anyone tried to fit the twin cat single link pipe version from the earlier RR to their 17+ R   - or will I be the first to try? Need to keep it under 100Db for trackdays.

I just fitted the headers from a 2015RR on my 2020 R.
Makes quite a difference in noise. I first used it with a Pro Race slash cut pipe (LOUD), then changed to a Lextek, much quieter...

Thanks for that, I think I'll have to keep the stock muffler if I swap systems.  Great to know that it will fit without issues.
