Haynes Customer Service
on: October 16, 2020, 10:59:37 PM
I bought a Haynes service manual about a year ago, soon after I bought my 2016 S1000R.  I recently turned to chapter 7, only to find the printer had made a mistake and left out the first ten pages of the section.

I contacted Haynes and, even though I'd bought the manual through Amazon (whose bookseller wasn't interested in my problem), Haynes immediately offered to send a replacement.

So, along with publishing excellent manuals Haynes also offers superior customer service.  I thought they deserved a public thumbs up.

Funny, My Haynes manual had a similar chapter was left out and another was duplicated.  But I caught it quickly enough and Amazon sent a replacement. Moral I guess is if you buy the manual, you may want to do a quick flip thru and see if it's assembled correctly.  Glad they don't make motorcycles. :187:

I wish they would use better paper. Maybe the photos would turn out better. I'd pay a couple of bucks more.

Haynes manuals have got cheaper and more flimsy as the years roll by .I have a Haynes manual for a 1974 Suzuki TS printed in 1975 and is superb , nice thick white paper and a glossy hard back .!!!
