3D Printing Offer
on: October 14, 2020, 05:58:30 PM
As my Prusa i3 Mk3s 3D printer is currently standing idle at home, I figured I would make the offer to design / print any bits and pieces you may require.

As I'm a mechanical design engineer by trade, and have my own 3D modelling software, I can also translate any sketches you have in to 3D models, and then print them for you.

I'm not looking to make any money from this, all I ask is for you to cover the cost of postage to you, plus a small amount per print to cover the cost of the filament.

At the minute I have Prusa's own filament in standard PLA and PETG.

PLA is grey in colour.
PETG is a semi translucent candy red.

I am willing to buy more filament of other types, in other colours if required.... within reason of course, I won't be buying 100's of them in all colours under the sun. (Well not yet anyway)

I am only offering this within the UK for the moment too.

So .... hit me up your needs, and any questions or queries you might have.

A veteran is someone who, at one point in their life wrote a blank check made payable to “The United States of America,” for an amount up to and including their life.

I have a task on at the minute developing protective covers for a race dash and data logger for my pals race bikes next season.

So if anyone else is running an Aim MXS Strada dash and Aim MXL2 data logger I will be able to help you out once I get the designs finalised and trail fitted.

Prototype #1 of a protective case for an AIM Solo 2 GPS lap time for my mates race bike.

Final print will be done with Prusament Black ASA filament. But as this is just a quick mock up for trial fitting I have only printed it with some Prusament PLA that I had laid about on 0.3mm draft print settings, 5% infill.

I also printed some paddock stand bobbins and bar end sliders for my Benelli in ASA the other day, but I forgot to take any photos of them before I fitted them.

Sorry I missed this before.

Foot peg delete brackets would be very doable.

If you can give me an idea of what you would like them to look like I can get something modelled up quickly and post the design up here to see of you're happy with it first.

I am probably going to stick with the standard can, for a while at least, would you be able to do an exhaust hanger for that side for those that keep the standard can.

Something like this, https://www.spengineering.co.uk/bmw-s1000r-2017-2019-evotech-performance-exhaust-hanger-blanking-plate-kit.html

I should be able to aye.

I'll see if I can mock something up tomorrow when I finish work.

I'd certainly be interested in a set if you could do them. No hurry, my bike has a lot of bits away getting hydro dipped at the moment.
