The wait begins!
on: August 11, 2020, 09:12:18 AM
Good morning from sub tropical England.
Ordered my new wheels from Williams Manchester yesterday, for delivery on 2nd September.
Gone for the S1000R sport in the HP white colours, to replace my white 2014 Street Triple, which I've loved!
But, the time has come to update to get the latest electronics, etc. Just hoping that they don't detract from the experience the Triumph has given but add to it, more safely?
So, it's now three weeks of studying the accessory, upgrade, etc, brochures like a 8 year old with the Argos catalogue before Christmas (except it's only online now, sacrilege), and then justifying, to the better half, why I NEED new brake and clutch levers when I've just spent 1000's on a motorbike!
Roll on September.

Congrats on the new purchase !

I've owned 2 street triples and though they were fun bikes this one is hands down better - and equally fun  :305:

You NEED new levers because the stock clutch lever in not adjustable and the reach is too far to be comfortable.
I got nothing.....

 Welcome.
Waiting is the absolute worst!!

If you want to keep uograde costs to a more Mrs friendly level I can reccomend Evotech levers.

I have the BMW HP levers fitted to my current bike. But had Evotech ones fitted to the previous one. The quality of them is excellent, the feel of the lever in the hand was nice and the price, for what they are is excellent.

Welcome!

I recently installed the Gilles levers; they are so much better than the stock, especially the clutch lever which I can now reach comfortably.

Also rad guards and tail tidy - Evotech ones which were good quality!

Enjoy the bike - when it arrives :)

Lol I was in exactly the same boat......
I now have had the bike 4 weeks,& have spent just over 2k on upgrades..... :138:
But I can highly recommend the ASV levers, which I have fitted to nearly all my bikes !!
Not cheap, but with 120 clicks of adjustments, you are literally spoilt for choice......
Happy hunting
