To me, unless it let's you just dump the clutch, what's the point?  In saying that, I also don't have the balls just to dump it!

well i tried it this morning and did it half ass.  :164: i didn't have the stones to dump the clutch so i feathered it to see what's up.  fun to try out and can see this feature very useful at the drag strip if that's your thing.

Good effort but you didn't quite get to the 9000rpm rev limiter - in this case the dash would probably have displayed that you still have three attempts left - my video wasn't my first attempt 😉

I have it from good authority (my dealer shop mechanic who races RR's); select launch control, hold throttle open enough to reach 9000 rpm but not wide open, briskly release the clutch, now go wide open. That is as much as I know. I suspect the shift light comes on at 9000 for the first three gears but do not know. I have mine set at 10000. Seldom comes on  :015: I too am getting closer to testing this out  :164:.

Shift light did remain on until I hit 3rd gear as I noticed on my 2nd attempt.  After that, shift light turns off until you hit your rev limit setting (mine is @11k). Itís fun to play with and for the record I was in Dynamic mode when I was recording.
