Heyy jjjdup i also have the 2016 s1r and im desperate to get some decibels happening so ive been doing a bit of research  ( which is quite difficult in country south Australia with very limited population and bike dealers ) and im pretty sure that they have a two pipes coming out of the silencer can.

Hi. The 2017 has the two pipes. 2016 one wider pipe

From what I've read I think you can make it fit, but the rearsets which include the silencer mount are higher on the RR than they are the R.

I've had the same dilemma, don't want louder just a different look and tone.  I've ordered an Arrow Works slip-on, just waiting for it to arrive from Italy  :001:
