^---yeah, I'm still looking for an explanation for this since (at least as I understand it) the latest Euro emission & noise standards are more *restrictive* than those in the US.

So Motoman on You Tube claims the problem is in all stock Euro bikes due to Euro 5 emissions and is not a US bike issue.  So those great torque curves you are seeing have had cheater flashes to the ECU to bypass Euro 5 standards...because all stock bikes supposedly have that horrifying dip.  Just reporting. :431:

UK bikes do not have the power dip. Just the American bikes as far as I have read.

...this link suggests otherwise....but I am just the messenger here and have no direct data.  I tend to believe it, however, since there is no explanation as to why US bikes would be the ones impacted with *less stringent* emissions and noise relative to Euro 5.

How about a better seat? The stock seat feels like a rail after a couple of hours. And the factory comfort seat is no better.

I would also like see a wider range of adjustment in the electronically controlled suspension. SOFT should be more compliant and HARD should be tauter.

I would also vote for a larger fuel tank. Six gallons (US) would be about right.

And an accurate speedometer. Even the cheapest Hyundai has one. Why is this so hard for BMW?

First they need to strengthen the frame by one or two MM around the steering stop as this is a weak point having two bikes written off by no fault on my part small tear in frame.Second they could make the bike safer by installing an ohlins or a fully adjustable steering damper as all three of my s1000r have suffered massive head shake they have it on the RR.Third supply a USB port.
