Which translates in to better braking performance of course.

Having seen several leaky Hayes calipers on the GS (including one in a dealer) 1 on the new RR, I would prefer the tried and tested Brembo’s.
Of course new parts/bikes have teething problems and will be resolved but I don’t understand why BMW chose to drop the Brembo’s on the new GS and RR. Interestingly the new F900XR and F900 both have Brembo’s .
Also as said, look nicer as well  :001: :001:

No, its about saving money...which is why BMW swapped from Brembo...I can tell you my BMW tech friend is nothing but scathing about the Hayes calipers, my Dad's G310R has been back twice now( with a mere 100 miles on the clock) to have the caliper changed..

Reviews I watched/read said the feel of the Hayes calipers on the new RR were actually better than the previous Brembo, but who knows if that's really true or not.

Personally I thought the Brembo on my 2017 R were great and I'm glad my Multi came with them as well (Brembo brake and clutch MC as well!)
