Crash Protection
« on: October 13, 2019, 07:05:35 PM »
Hey everyone, I just recently got my 2019 S1000r and so far I'm loving it. I've ordered a tail tidy, radiator and cooler guard, and some paddock stand bobbins. The only thing I really need next is some crash protection. I'm on the fence of which to order. Anyone have experience and recommendations on what brand of crash protection works the best and is easy to install?

Doesn't look like they have frames sliders past 17' models. I see many people mentioning Evotech sliders and R&G; I'm assuming those are the go to frame sliders on the market.

17 onwards are the same models, 14-16 are slightly different(frame, engine power, electronics).

I have the GB racing covers for the 2018 model and they are great quality. A lot of the BSB racers use them

I got the Wunderlich Frame sliders, like the look and they likely won't dig into the dirt or pavement causing a flip. A bit pricey tho as all wunderlich items tend to be. I also got the 2017 GB racing covers and they fit fine.
