Newbie

Good evening everyone

Tuesday I bought a 2014 S1000r in red (first ever in 30 years of riding usually have black unless itís GSXR or RD which I have to have in colours)
Last Saturday I borrowed an S from Cotswold bmw and had it till Sunday.  well all I can say is within 3 miles I new I had to have one.
Down side was I had to have one in my budget
My previous bike was a Z900 which cornered well but lacked top end and bmw only offered me £5250 on a year old bike with a 1000 miles on it ( a loss of 4500) so went to my local dealer Frasers and swapped it for the S and a few quid more.
So far since Tuesday Iíve done 500 miles and canít stop smiling Iíve had more smiles per miles then the gsxr1000 or the zx10 I had previously before the Z900.

Thanks for letting me join the site looks really good and every inviting. Iím sure your all get sick of me asking silly/stupid questions I will of course check all the threads before writing

Cheers all

Congratulations!
It really is a fun bike, enjoy.
You should remember that itís peace of mind youíre after and not just a fixed machine.
