Well pooped out for a ride to Loomies cafe on Saturday with my boss and popped in to Barnstormer in Alton, 15 mins later and I am on a test ride of a S1000R Sport with HP wheels, next thing I know is I'm riding home the demonstrator to show the wife.  Im now the proud owner of a 1,500 mile 68 plate S1000R in motorsport colours. I pick her up Thursday. My trusty Italian Rivale is now in their showroom. Will post some pics at the weekend, in the meantime heres my departed MV

Nice looking MV :028:  I could imagine the Brides facial expression  when you brought the demo S1KR home. :005:
Congrats and welcome to the forum.

:400: Test rides are always a risky affair :006:  Nice pic of Italian exotica. A well appointed ride in itself no doubt. Extra ponies aside, any notable differences in overall build/ride quality for you?

Obviously only ridden about 100 miles on the demonstrator but the quick shifter is a lot smoother, feels more planted on the road, better mid range torque and the wife loves the better view as the pillion seat is a lot higher  :001: the brakes are far better and my usual ride to work has a fast Bend and I feel more confident on the BMW as I never felt truly relaxed on a super Moto style bike, overall first impression is its a far more put together package. But, the MV is a work of art and always got lots of looks and comments  :018:
