Dropped her :-(
« on: September 09, 2019, 08:45:13 PM »
So it finally happened after 10 years of riding I finally dropped a bike. I thought the kick stand was done but it was not :005: , by the time I realized it was too late and had to let her down.  Luckily I had some R&G frame sliders which took pretty much took all the damage and some Woodcraft spools on the rear that saved everything back there.  Moral of the story is get some frame sliders for your bike asap and always check the kickstand lol.

Been there on another bike - tipped over manoeuvring on gravel - foot slipped ! - bar ends and frame sliders saved the day -  scratch on clutch lever and mirror which I just left - must have saved me maybe a grand in repairs and parts !
