brake cylinder not fit when fitting rearsets
« on: September 07, 2019, 01:48:06 PM »
Sorry if this has been asked before, but searched and cant find the answer.

So brought some Diamond race rear sets for my 2016 S1000R sport, gone to fit them this morning, gear side on with slight adjustment to link rod, but the brake side I can't get the brake cylinder to line up to fit it, there is no give in the braided brake line to the ABS unit & if I force it the brake line is at a sever angle.

Has anyone come across this when fitting rear sets & if so how did you get round it.

Cheers Bob.

My attack rearsets fitted right up with no issue. Maybe post a a pic of what you're running into?

This could be unique to Diamond. Post a pic or call Diamond. All the other well known brands do not have any issue.
