S1000r and s1000rr compatibility?
« on: August 17, 2019, 05:38:42 PM »
Hi fellas. Just got the 2017 s1000r the other day. Love the bike. Looking at buying some things of a guy. Just need to make sure they fit before I purchase them. His bike is a 2015 s1000rr and the parts I need to know if they fit mine are an evo tech tail tid, rad/oil guards and some levers.  I'm gona guess they are the exact same but I dont know about my bike enough as I havnt owned it long and not really seen any s1000rr in the flesh to compare. Plus I'm on holiday so cant look at my bike!

Any help would be appreciated.

Tail tidy and radiator guards should definitely fit. I am pretty sure the levers as well, but not 100% on them.

I dont think the levers will fit. Iirc the bushes are a different size. Also unsure about the micro switches on them.

If they are all evotech bits have a look at their website. Select each part for the single R and take a note of it's part number, then do the same for the double R and if those part numbers match then you're golden, if not then chances are they may not be interchangeable between the 2 models.

The tail tidy and radiator guards should be gtg. The Evotech radiator guard is very well made, and looks better than all the others in my opinion.
