Hello from Denver
« on: May 15, 2019, 07:28:17 PM »
Hey all,

Just picked up a "grey" '18 s1000r a few weeks ago, stared at it while it rained and snowed for a week, and actually got to riding the thing last week. It's brilliant. I'm coming from an '04 gsxr600 and the difference is astounding. Still really enjoy the gixxer, but this bike is in a different league. Been browsing this forum for a few months now and figured it was time to join up and introduce myself.

Thanks for all the knowledge you've imparted on me from your past posts  :020:

Also, if anyone in the Denver area wants to go for a ride sometime, lemme know! None of my friends have been infected by the bug I keep trying to pass around.

Welcome to the forums! I'm curious, how much did you pay for your 18?

The dealer had some incentives as well as BMW offering some incentives, together they took off ~$3k. After taxes and everything I think I walked out with a loaded s1000r at ~$14k.
