Stay away from aluminum rear sprockets. They bent and rounded on my RR pretty soon. Lot of power and a trigger happy right wrist I posted before. Check the ebay link. You can get higher quality sprockets much cheaper from the UK. My local moto shop charges $100 for install.

Maybe it depends on the quality of the aluminium rear sprocket. I ran one (from Talon) on my Fireblade and it still looked as good as new after 6-7K miles when I sold the bike to buy my R.

I can highly recommend it - looks good, works well.
Lighter than steel, stronger than aluminium.
So the best of both worlds.

When I needed one for my GSX-R1000 the local reseller did not have stock, so I ordered directly from Europe. The shipping wasn't even expensive.

If/when I need to replace my chain on the S1000R I will go with them again - Supersprox sprockets and an EK chain
I got nothing.....
