GTechniq G5 for helmet visor
« on: January 06, 2019, 09:24:27 AM »
Hi, guys!
Has any of you tried the GTechnique G5 (the old version was G3) on the visor? i used it on my car's windshield and it's remarkable in mild rain and even snow. I've done some research about how safe it is to use it on other than glass materials and on the dedicated site for this product  they say it's safe and works great, but i was wondering if you have any experience with it and share it :)

Never had a problem with using G5 on visors, just as long as the prep is right before applying it, light Polish with G-Tech G4, light mist of G tech panel wipe and then apply G5.  It works better than G1 as that bonds better to glass where as G5 bonds better to Perspex/plastic's.
