2017 S1Kr - Bazzaz / Power Commander
« on: December 14, 2018, 09:49:31 AM »
Hey guys,

I have de-cated my bike and installed a akra GP slip on, now I want to try to correct the fueling.

I was thinking of installing a Bazzaz / PCV, but have been reading that on 2017 bikes you cant disconnect o2 sensors, so basically closed loop wont have any actual change, since the o2 sensor will tell the ECU to compensate for the extra fuel the module sends.

Anybody running this setup? If I disconnect the o2 sensor will the bike enter safe mode?

I know Rapid Bike has a different approach, that uses signals from the o2 sensores to tell de ECU that its OK, but I wanted to know if there is a way to have a Bazzaz or PCV working well in the >2017 models.

I have a 17 with a full akrapovic for the 2010-2014 RR. I will be installing a PCV, block off plates and dyno tuning it on the 15th of Feb. Ill update you how it goes.

Dyno done. Before: 153.19 hp and 77.24 lb ft. After: 161.00 hp and 83.17 lb ft. I heard from a local racer that this dyno is a heartbreaker but I feel it is accurate. The bike is smoother and more manageable but with more power. Still pops/bangs and shoots fire without the SAS. 😈

I will scan the chart and post it here on Monday from work. To get back to the original post. My O2 sensors are still installed and I have no trouble lights at all. Runs awesome
