Wobble-wobble

Hey guys. When riding my new 2018 S1KR, I noticed that the front has a wobble especially under hard acceleration and bit crappy road. Did sum research and concluded it was due to aerodynamics, lighter front end compared to my 2015 S1KRR. Would an aftermarket Ohlins damper help with the wobble effect? Thanks guys

More than likely. I had an Ohlin's on mine, removed it because I was planning on selling the R, but regret it now!!! (as well as the Rotobox wheels and Ohlins suspension)

I have an ohlins steering damper on my '18 and not experienced wobbles even under full acceleration in dynamic mode. Think I have it on 12 clicks but not sure. Very stable. Also have the wunderlich sport screen - not sure it matters but mention it anyway. Would buy one again.

First try removing the retainer for clutch cable and see. That thing pulls the steering to the left when the front end gets lighter under hard acceleration. Then try an aftermarket damper like Ohlins. I wonder if there are any other brands that work?

I was concerned with the bounce and flex in corners with my 15, put a Ohlins damper on it, but played with tire pressure and that helped too along with loosing the Bridgestones and their stiff sidewalls. That damper sits on the shelf with my 2018 in the garage.
