I ended up with worn front tire once on a getaway. the only tire they had was a pilot Power/Pure(maybe the same as you are referencing?!?). Was excellent once warm in dry conditions(pretty shocking when cold or damp/wet), but it only lasted 1500 miles(was getting 3500 miles form a Power 3).

Do the math, if it is half the  price of a power 3, it may be worth a look at(providing you have warm, dry roads)

I went with a Michelin Pilot Power 2CT

Just to double check with you guys, its a 120/70-17 58W

It doesn't say "ZR".

It's a ZR, whether it said it on the website or not:

https://motorcycle.michelinman.com/motorbike/michelin/desktop/US/en/tires/products/pilot-power-2ct.html

All fitments of that tire are Z rated.

Thanks for that.

Im not sure whats up with this order but its goign to take ages.

I may need to switch it up to a Dunlop Sportmax Q3.  I haven't been on Dunlops since 2007.  What do you guys think of this mix (9Pilot Power 3 rear)?

High neurotic.

Dunlop Q2 onwards have been the best tires for me .... great grip, feedback and predictability, right till the end of life. I have been railing Mines Rd and Hamilton on literally bald Q2s and never lost confidence.
