Reviving old post.

Does anyone know where to jack the bike from though?
I need to change my fork oil to something lighter...
Can't be using paddock stands for those.

Don't mess with the OLD FARTS - age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill!

Go for a Abba stand. They are very good, and quite affordable.

I recommend Superbike Package 2 or 3
https://abbastands.co.uk/product-index.asp

Takes no room when not in use.

I can vouch for the Abba - if you want to raise the front of the bike using the Abba they have an additional adaptor kit but I think it's a faff to use and install  - so I use a bottle jack right under the headers to gently lift the front (I put a block of wood between the jack and bike to spread the load and protect the contact point etc.). Great for swapping out both wheels.

Have a quick read of this thread before you change your fork oil...

Back onto stands, I'd suggest something similar to a bursig (or even a genuine one, if you've got the money, lol)

I bought my bursig rip-off stand from discountramps.com 10 years ago for $200 USD (they stopped selling them shortly thereafter, likely due to legal pressure) and it still works great.
