ECU flash revisit
« on: November 17, 2018, 06:23:00 PM »
It's been a couple of years since I asked and have yet to see the reply I was looking for, so maybe by now.

I did a BrenTune flash on my '14 S1KR and other than notably better quick shifter performance and nice straight power curves I'm not "feeling" a big power jump as claimed (15-20 h.p.). I made the huge error of not doing a stock dyno run and only did post flash where I got 153/79.47

I'm putting it out there again after a couple of years - does anyone have before and after dyno numbers for a BrenTune on a single R??

You are not alone. Many folks on RR forum are also very disappointed with brentuning results after dumping almost $1000 bucks. Do a search there.

From what I've read since - Brentune is pants and certainly lacking in evidence and independent testing according to forum posts.  Rapidbike / Dynojet PC with a dyno set up seem to be the way to go. Even then it's not massive gains !
