Great LED headlights (Cyclops look alikes)
« on: September 07, 2018, 01:13:23 AM »
These pretty much look like the cyclops ones and are TUV certified and cost 1/3rd ($35). Can't beat that. High quality packaging as well as build quality and superb light output.

They are nice low profile as well though you need a larger hole in the dust cap

Does the LED bulb actually make any difference in nighttime visibility, or did you do it just for looks?

HIDs make a huge difference on my bike over the stock halogen bulb as well. Did you make a hole in your dust cover and reinstall or just left it off?

I drilled mine out around the 5 min mark. Rubber grommet fit securely and can get you the size of the drill bit if needed.

I made a hole in the dust cap to keep the area as clean as possible. Not sure I will ride the bike in torrential rains though anyway ...

Thanks for the install video helped out a lot. What size  hole saw did you use on the dust cover? That low beam driving light was a pain until I figured out you don't have to twist it but push in the tab behind the wires with a screw driver and pull it out at the same time.

This was very helpful mate, thanks very much. How the hell did you keep your cool though with getting that clip back on the bulb, i was using language i didn't even know i knew! It killed my fingers too, pushing down on it, until i figured pulling it to the side is better.
