I must be missing something, did you guys wire it into the running light, or the high beam?

I keep putting the wires into the plug to the running light and when I plug it in all the way, it cuts the wires to the angel eye right off at the plug due to the tight fit.

Nevermind, took some trial and error but I managed to get it working...  I think I tapped in at a different spot than the pics on the previous page showed tho.  I went to the plug to the daytime running light (in the left hand light housing... low beam?)

Yes the running light. I put about 1/8 of the bare wire into the small holes on either side of the male connector then jammed the connectors together. It will become very tight and hard to completely lock the connectors together. I just got it as far as I could to the locking point then tested it and taped it up.

Ah, I thought of doing that, but couldn't get the wires to stay in those holes in the side of the connector while I plugged it in... oh well, in the end the result is more or less the same.

They quiet easily stay in when plugged but the main issue is the wires at the LED light connection get pinched and cut between the fairing and headlight easily. We will see how long it lasts. Each LED is only $3-4 bucks and take like 10-15 mins to install.

Don't put the plastic sheathing inside. It will splay the connectors and might rip itself. Just put the metal wire through. I should have taken a picture.

I bought as seller on ebay stated pure white 6000K but colour is too bluish... I don't want to pile up lot of rings until i found right white shade  :002:
Thanks

Installed with a switch to avoid legal entanglements.

Bought mine on Amazon- $9 for 2.

You installed a switch to turn the angel eye on and off?  What switch did you buy and how did you run the switch so it can be used to turn it on and off?

Damn I wish I looked closely at the pics posted with the ring installed.  I have a carbon fascia.  Easy install I must say.  But when I went to put the fascia back on a part of the fascia at 10 and 11 oclock covered it a bit.  I thought thats how the carbon fascia was made and I wound up removing the ring.  I was going to post and ask if anyone else had that issue with the light being covered a bit.  Then I see al the pics on this post and all the light rings are covered in the same spot.  So now back to the garage tomorrow to do the install again lol
