Interesting SCCA course to improve riding
« on: August 10, 2018, 02:30:27 AM »
Ever try this?

Good concentration with the call mid way through.

Nice on the XR, might look into some local SCCA tracks...

Sign up for California Superbike School by Keith Code next time they are at a track near you (see their website). Take sessions 1&2. One day that will change your riding forever.

I do agree trackdays  make a person a better rider but it really depends on the curriculum if it makes a person a better street rider. Many techniques are not easily transferable to street riding.

I do love trackdays though. I was looking forward to breaking into the expert group this year but broken my ankle in 5 places :(

So if you was alone, who knocked all those cones over...?  :086:

No, I also think thats a great idea.  My wife recently did the Ron Haslam race school in the UK and part of that was in a car park with a series of cones and different maneuvers to be undertaken, including riding no handed around a corner, anyway, end result was she became more confident and faster/smoother. ...like your video shows, was a lot of fun too.
