Rear indicator!

Any mods' that can be done to the rear indicators to save them from being damaged by through over panniers?
I.e. Integrated into the bodywork '14 model s1000r !

Why?  Plenty of bikes are using these new combined LED wraparound lights, with indicators incorporated, the new CCM has indicators which are only 6 inches apart( I know this is a photo robbed from the net but I viewed one last week, in the flesh so to speak)

Thats just such a bad idea. Looks cool, but in the real world those indicators are going to be swamped by the brake light... and we dont need to give other road users even more of an excuse not to see what were doing.
