ABS Pro Retrofit Installed
« on: June 27, 2018, 10:07:08 AM »
Had ABS Pro retrofit installed last week whilst my S1000r was in for a service.
Initially I got a call saying the engineers were having trouble, but then got a call saying it was done.

I think their issue was that it didn't indicate on the dash like the newer models.
I took a screen grab using motoscan of the firmware / dates before and after, the date was the same, but strangely other info was different.
My dash had been totatly reset, I had to change shift light, units etc etc

They did give me a screen grab of what looked like a diagnostics program and abs pro was listed, so fingers crossed!!

Oh actually just looking at the screen grab, shouldn't ABS Pro be under the retrofit section??

It was about 360 and done @ the Northampton Wollaston BMW

I work in IT (Server / virtualisation etc), and have re-flashed various bikes using tunecu  / powercommanders etc

I know BMW have to recoop development costs, but it is a bit expensive...but if it saves a crash...its worth it
