Love the belly pan but interested if you are going to make one for the 2017+ that fits with the OEM cat still fitted, any plans?

On a side note, if I do decat my 2017 will that affect the warranty or do BMW offer a decat that wont invalidate the warranty?

I think you can get the akra full system (HP4) from BMW, which will not void the warranty. They also update the map on your R, but it's really pricey. Everything else I'm not too sure. Stopped informing myself cause it's not road legal for me anyways :/

Regarding the Bellypan, I'm also waiting (as are a lot of peole I'm sure) for a version to fit the 17+ with the oem cat, since I'm not really willing to spend 600 on the carbon one, cause a) I'm going to wrap it anyways and b) the weight difference probably will be minimal.
There is not a single reply from them regarding another bellypan though, right? Give us at least a yes, maybe or a no..

I emailed them and they said they will not make one that works with the oem Cat due to heat.

Oh wow, that sucks but it's reasonable I guess... Looks like I'll have to save then. :(

ionemoto response:

The temperature is a big consideration but we did not fit on a bike that had the cat.. so we could not tell you if it would or would not work.. but would be happy to know if it does or does not

ok so regardless of the heat problem will this pan fit a stock 2016 with stock headers and stock can?
im willing to take a punt on the purchase if it will fit
as for the heat problem there is three options as far as i can see
1) add some heat mat like this one   https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Motorcycle-Fairing-Panel-Exhaust-Engine-HEAT-SHIELD-Self-Adhesive-Sheet-New/140889796676?hash=item20cdafb044:g:ZbYAAOxyLN9Sngex
2) ceramic coat the pipes
3) wrap the pipe with exhaust wrap
or maybe all three but i think the top two should be enough

has anyone been successful on fitting this pan to a stocker?

They've said a few times it will not fit with the stock cat in place.
