came back yesterday after doing a few days tour of Wales, followed(much of) this particular route, the weather was kind , the roads quiet and I met some lovely people over the time..

Bike was absoultley brilliant as well, in the last few weeks ive tried 2 different "adventure" bikes and they where very poor in comparison to ride Vs the all round competence of the BM.

And where did you stay overnight? Camping or B&B? Can you recommend and place where you can park your bike safe? Thx

Looks like a great ride Podders.

Question: looks like you have a phone or garmin on your bars. Some here have said the bars vibration can adversely affect iPhones. Have you had any issues / how long has it been mounted/ how is it mounted / is it an iPhone (or what?).

It would be nice to have a gps of sorts mounted where yours is.

Thanks    :305:

I stayed the first night in Brecon at The Markets Tavern, it was much like Fawlty Towers but dirtier with equally dire service, so avoid that establishment! Second night I stayed with family in Church Stretton so no compaints there!

Ive done the camping thing when I was a younger lad, not for
Me now but If thats your bag, loads of campsites thruout Wales and ive no doubt far nicer than the Markets Tavern 😁

Last year I did a tour of Mid/North Wales and that spiked my interest in riding there...If there is enough interest, thou im not local to the place or in anyway Welsh, id be happy to put a 2-3 day tour together for us S1000R owners...

All here mate. Its an Ultimate Add ons case..have a read and hopefully youll get to understand why it doesnt cause issues with your phone.  I use my iPhone with it.

Ive been using it for about a year now, since I had the bike in fact,
last month I did around 900 miles with it in France...
