Handlebar GoPro mount
on: August 10, 2017, 10:54:16 PM
I designed this handlebar GoPro mount and had a friend 3D print it. Wanted a position for the camera with a good view that didn't vibrate and the only place I could find was the bar clamp, works great :001:

Nicely done! I've wondered what practical uses there are for those printers. Finally!

Is it tall enough or do you get a frame that's 1/3 clocks? Post a video once you grab one please. And don't be surprised to see a request for one ;)

I have a RAM mount bolted directly to one of the 4 bolts of the handle bar clamp and ran a Go Pro this past weekend with not much trouble. The wider the view you choose, the more video stabilization is required.

The view captures full instruments and a good view of the road. I'll post some video when I get a chance, my camera is on loan to a friend so it might be a week or so.

That's how it looks. I even rotate mine down a little more so you see a little less sky.

I don't think there is a big enough market to make a bunch of these so I'll just make you one when I get some time.😉

Thank you kindly! I would appreciate it. I haven't found a mount I like yet and this looks to be a nice and simple way to do it.
