2017 (OD52) BMW service manual/dvd?
« on: July 06, 2017, 01:48:58 PM »
Has anyone seen the updated BMW service manual/dvd for sale anywhere yet? There are a few on ebay but non that confirm that the latest year (OD52) is covered.

Won't be doing my own service work until after the 2 year warranty but it would be nice to get hold of one for when I do.

Anyone??

Cheers  :028:

Those on offer on the Ebay site that say they are for our 2017 model are not when you look at the model designators - 0D02-0D22-0D32

I do continue to look though.
Kawasaki Z1000SX Tourer (Blue / Black) MY16
BMW S1000R Sport (Red / Black) MY17

If you buy one from BMW, it is good for three computers and free up grades as things change. I have mine installed on my computer and up graded it once. The EBay ones are hyjack copies.  :151:
I do my own work even though it is under warranty. Valve checks save me 600$ US and that is money. The tools to do it cost less than $300 so it quickly gets you where you should be money wise. Plus it gives me something fun to do in the winter. I realize many people do not have facilities to do work on their bike though or just don't like mechanical work.

Just buy one from BMW.   :232:  the three computers only thing is gone. They put a lot of money into it. They deserve the price. Nothing in this world is free. If they stop making them due to copies then what?

Ok...so where do you buy one from?  My BMW dealer told me to go pound sand!

Max BMW is where I order my parts from. But my local dealer sells them too. I would change dealers if possible given his assistance level.
I emailed MAX to get the latest version part number for you but mine is: 01 59 8 559 611
When you register on line you can get all the up dates. It is possible to put the disk on your computer thus the up dates will be possible.
