BMW Rebates schedule
« on: June 12, 2017, 10:18:35 PM »
I am pretty in tune with the rebate schedules offered on Yamaha and Honda products, it is like clockwork every year.  I am however not in tune with the rebate schedule of BMW motorcycles and I am looking to jump ship to pick up an S1000R... unless for some reason Yamaha announces an FZ10 SP for us release in the next few weeks.

I'd hate to buy now if say they put out 2017 rebates in September.  I have other motorcycles, I can wait a couple of months.  If they don't start rebates until January or later I will probably pull the trigger sooner.

I guess I should have asked when to expect rebates for 2017 models based on past experience....

Anyway, I may have found a dealership willing to deal, I just wish they were a little closer.

They are still trying to clear out 2016's, so it is unlikely that you will see any promotions on 2017s anytime soon.  IIRC, their cash-off rebates are at the end of the season, not the beginning.

Regardless, here is where they list their current promotions:

I just want to know what BMW typically considers end of season for motorcycles?  Like I said, I am not in a rush.  There are very few 2016's out there right now... or I would jump on one.

I don't remember exactly, but I want to think is was late fall.  The last couple of bikes I bought were in the late summer or early spring, and there weren't any promotions that I could take advantage of for new model year bikes.
