Roblaw, Quoted $215 USD including delivery to Australia for the Southern California tensioner. For the APE one I was quoted $135 USD.  Let me know if your keen, might get it cheaper for 2.  I'm not far from the Goldy.

hi Paul, i'm keen

might be able to ask for a better price on two of them, worth a try anyway and splitting the postage will help

Ill just add my reasons for buying the Socal unit. I liked the video. They seem to specialise in gear for BMW, so i figured they had developed it well. The unit looked really well made and had great reviews. It was more expensive, however i liked it enough to pay extra, all things considered. Im hapoy with my purchase.

I got my APE in today. Strangely had no O-ring, and the picture indicates it has one.

Also, I'll note the OEM unit had two.

Anyone recall if they went with the APE, if it used two O-rings?

Ordered mine today, will know in a couple of weeks.  Will the O-rings from the OEM fit the APE?

I dropped both OEM back in (they fit as expected), also have an email out to APE. I'll post up what they say.

Yes my ape came  with 1 o-ring and i reused 1 o-ring that sits deep inside head so im using two in total.

Over 18000km problem free riding on my ape tensioner.
