New Orbit Side Cases for the C-Bow Carrier!
« on: October 24, 2016, 10:42:12 PM »
We've gotten a lot of inquires from S1000R/RR owners about small hard bags to use for daily commute...well...

The new Orbit Side Case Set is unlike any hard case on the market because it attaches to the smaller and discrete C-Bow carrier, rather than the traditional Side Carrier. Traditionally used for soft luggage attachment, the C-Bow system is a bike specific mount which allows you to attach lockable luggage to your bike.

These Orbit cases are made of high-impact UV-resistant plastic and are 100% waterproof thanks in part to a form fitted rubber seal along the case's seam. A new all-in-one lock concept allows the lid latch and locking mechanism to be integrated as one system. The Orbit features a robust appearance thanks to a carbon look pattern unique to Hepco & Becker, along with a fresh 3D Hepco & Becker logo.

Volume: 22L/case
Weight: 4lbs/case
Dimensions: 16" x 12" x 8.5" (Length x Height x Depth)

The H&B bags look good, too bad they  are so small in capacity.

I remember the metal carriers I had with the K5 bags that were 47 liters each.

Now that is capacity...

Saw these bags at the NYC show, they look really good but are very small.   The shape kind of reminds me of the K1300s side bags on my other bike which are OK but not great but those are actually bigger I think.  Its a lot of coin for such a small amount of space and based on my experience with the K1300s bags they are a going to be pain to pack and unpack compared with square cases. Of course square cases would look crap so I guess these are a nice option for good looking bags...
