Bikesafe course - UK Police
« on: September 11, 2016, 09:27:51 PM »
Me and my other half took another Bikesafe course today.

If you have not heard of this, it is a one-day course lead by professional UK Police motorcycle traffic officers. The first part of the day is classroom based and they run though some useful theory then you head out on the roads for some practical observation.

We've done two courses now, one with Thames Valley Police and today's with the Met Police. They have both been excellent and a lot of fun as well as informative.

I genuinely ride better (and safely faster) than before. The riders are great. They ride for a living and are passionate about what they do. They're not preachy or judgmental and really just want us to ride better and get hit less.

If you are in the UK, have a few quid to spare I highly recommend you find your local course and spend a weekend day learning for the pros.
Peace 'n' be wild, y'all
