I bought a 'fully loaded' bike, including alarm, as well.

North America stupid regulations - the indicators have to be a certain distance apart... I guess the LEDs are too short.

The stock signals have long stalks and look absolutely retarded. Yes, retarded.
It was the first thing I bought. $350, in Canada, including the BMW LED harness...
($60 apiece for the signals...  :005:)

...but, then again, compared to stock, worth EVERY cent...

There was a guy at the Rockstore Sunday on a red S1R. He mounted the RR incandecent rear turn signals up front. Identical style as stock but really short stalks. Looked good.

Something like this...

BMW stock rear lights will bolt into the front to get rid of the length of the front lights.  You'll just have to do splice into the wires -- a simple mod.
- K1600GT (for the Ride)
- S1000R (for the Twisties)
- R1200GSW (for Everything)
- Monster 1100 EVO (for the Town)
- CBR600RA (for the Track), TC449 (for the SM Track) & KTM 350 EXC-F (for the Dirt)

That is what my dealer recommended to me when I mentioned the length...he showed me almost all of the bikes use the same signals so it doesn't have to be off an rr

EBay made in China rear rr signals $16.50 can't tell the difference from OEM. ( I used the reflector and lens from the originals for a perfect match.)

Do you know the part number for the signals and LED harness ... I was told my BMW Toronto that they can't get the LEDs.  If you have the part number, I will ask them if they can order it for me.

I though I read somewhere that (at least in the US anyway) dealers would no longer sell the LED indicators?

Thank you for the link.

I will have to make a new friend in Europe who would be nice enough to buy/ship it to me...of course I would pay them first.

There are lots of UK ebay sellers who sell the OE part who ship by mail to Canada.

You may want to look at KFM-Motorrader.com. They have excellent prices! The only issue is their flat rate shipping of 55 euros to the US, but f you are buying enough (may be group up with a couple of others who want OEM stuff) it works out way cheaper. I bought 6 LED indicators (4 for the wife's GS and 2 to finish my S1kR) and it wokred out a little cheaper than buying for the dealer here in the US. I had to buy a camshaft for my K1300S, I saved over $300 buying it through KFM over the dealer prices listed!!! (list was somewhere around $750, paid around $430 including shipping from KFM).
