$750??  :033:

That's 673, I'd a guy here do an ECU reflash on my KTM 990 SM and that cost me 300, but for that, he collected the bike, brought it the dyno, ran it repeatedly and made sure the custom map was the optimum one for my bike.

Wow that seems very expensive for a ecu flash with no dyno time , i know they have to pay a fee for every ecu they hook upto the software but it can't be that much surely ?
I think they have cornered the market (for now ) and are taking full advantage of it

Does anyone know if BrenTune support the MyPersonalFash with the S1KR? I am interested in getting one as I've had mine de-catted and feel like it could use a tune.

The flashing tool itself, can it be used on multiple bikes?

Short answer is no.  Apparently the new BSMX ecu is password protected or something.

Get a bazzaz zfi and afm auto tuner and get a dyno tuner to make you a map. You will NOT be disappointed!

With all the smarts that our clever ECU's bring I was trying to avoid using a piggyback method. But by the sounds of it there isn't a way to do this?

Is using a piggyback method taking away from all that hard work BMW put into developing the ECU?

I will tell you next week as mine is going in for a flash and dyno tune on Tuesday , they are keeping till Friday/sat
I am getting before and after dyno runs , as I don't think I've seen any concrete before and after power figures on a ecu flash on the SK1R

A place called p3 tuning , they are a couple of lads who worked in a well respected tuning shop local to me , they parted ways with the gaffer and have just opened up their own place
I've been in there and a had a few conversations with them and they seem to know what they are doing and have done a load of rr's but this will be their first r
