That's awesome, not too many people get to experience and event like that. I too do track days on a track prepped 6R and it is a lot of fun.

You're never too old, I'm 72 and sold a 200 bhp Gen 2 VMax to buy my S1R, where abouts in Brum are you?

Stone Cross, West Brom. If you ever fancy a ride out to Crossgates cafe via Craven Arms etc let me know, my two nephews who I often go riding live on the Pheasey both have BMs RR and R

Am I the only one under 30 with an R?

I must be single-handedly bringing the average age of BMW riders down. It's true I don't see many near my age at my local dealers...

Spoilt these days with all the technology allowing you to go faster whilst being safer. Gives us older blokes a better chance if we stuff up  :152:
