    Gents,
I need some help, I have fitted canbus connector as recommended P/N from above, and solder wires as found in one youtube vid.
Then tested and was charging but today when needed it as phone was dead no way to charge.
When I plug in it charges for a 25 sec and that is it.
    Any Idea what is wrong.

OK, I have done some more researching.
When I connect phone it is showing charging but actually no charging is happening battery power not going up, low power I assume.
    As said I used connector P/N 83 300 0 413 585.
As seen one one youtube video that on this cable wire marked No1 is negative No2 obsolete and No3 Positive.
This is how i had it connected.
Decided to disconnect and removed some insulation from all wires and used multi-meter and measured 12V DC between 2 and 1 meaning 2 is + as when having black black on 2 and red on 1 showing -12V.

I have tried to connect like that but could not manage to charge the phone no power at all.
Now during this process i think i have f up mine USB cable as was sticking probes inside trying to measure something. Newer mind new on on order. Now need to wait for it and then connect to 2 and 1.

If anyone thinks I am doing something wrong please let me know.

Ok so I have problem with leaving things alone.
I have riged up a old USB cable in order to do some measurements and it is giving out 8V DC on USB output while connected as above 2 Positive and ! negative and same with 3 as Negative.
But problem is it is not charging phone but speaker yes.
So still to continue looking for Issue.

I think your problem is the actual USB charger, it is not supplying enough amps. even though the bike socket can support 12v @5A (12*5 = 60 watts power), the USB charger that converts 12v to 5v can maybe only support up to 1.5 A (5*1.5 = 7.5 watts power). All the newer fancy iphones and samsungs that support USB C charging are capable of much higher power, and they need it, or else your battery will continue to drain even when plugged in to a charger that cannot deliver enough power. Look into getting a higher amp USB charger, the good ones have usb type C ports and can deliver much more than 2 amps.

    Ok, stupid me.
So I have spent some time trouble shooting.
I found that fuse was blow that is why I didn't got any voltage between canbus wires 1 and 3.
After that I was getting 12v between them two.
    But phone was not charging.
Then I decided to put original converter from usb charger that I removed from loop as suggested back in the loop and it is working spectacular.
    Happy as a Larry now.
    Thanks for all help
