im wanting to charge my phone and or sat nav and after reading the manual it looks like there is a port behind the fairing on either side. I cant find them so can anyone confirm if there is a 12v anywhere beside the battery?

There are can bus plugs available.  You'll need to connect to them.  I believe this is the proper connector to use:

    06    83 30 0 413 585    REPAIR PLUG, 3-PIN - NO. 611656

Locations of the aux outlets are shown on pages 2/10 and 2/14 in the OM. The 3-pin can bus connector BillB offered plugs directly into these 'OA Plug's.
If look close at this picture you can see the connector (yellow wires) plugged into the 'OA Plug' on the bike.
    Hope that helps.
    Cheers

Does anyone in the UK know where I can order this on-line or is a dealer only part?

I believe that you can buy this at Nippy Norman's as well.

I bought one today at my dealer (Cannon's) for just over a fiver.
Quite a lot of nippy Norman tax added, glad I didn't order order one from there..
