2015 S1000RR
« on: October 01, 2014, 05:39:03 PM »
I just saw pictures and an article on the new 2015 S1000RR that my buddy showed me. He's all excited about the cruise control on the bike. They've given it 199HP, reworked the nose ( looks a bit like a Honda Blade if you ask me ), supposed to have the same electronic suspension we have and has a way ugly exhaust!!  I bet some of those won't get off the showroom floor without an exhaust upgrade.   :008:   :305:

In terms of the new exhaust (which I also think is not as nice as the original), what do you think they mean when they say they have removed the front exhaust?

I guess they mean that there is no cat under the motor, it is now integrated in the exhaust can.

Is this not a special? black as a colour has not been updated on their web site and given it has loads of carbon plus optional exhaust, I would guess it is.

Bloody hope so as I've just bought a red one as they did not do black!!

The picture above is a black single R...not RR. Street legal Akra and carbon loaded mind.
Why is common sense so uncommon?

This is indeed an ugly exhaust, just seems like a normal japanese bike...  :192:

Would've like a more agressive front end.The curves make me think of a honda...At least, they kept the asymetrical light !

Ooops. Stupid me.  So it is!  Now everyone is going to be screaming for gloss black bikes. Which, IMO, look way better than stealth flat black.
