M1000R suspension for heavy rider - track experience

Can anyone give feedback on track performance on M1000R. I'm 105kg and looking at bike for track/race, will not have budget for upgrade other then spring change and re valve. Sounds like bike has adjustment in damper through EDC.

Really wish manual option was available, free up some budget for aftermarket or similar to MRR.

    I would appreciate any feedback.

    Hi Bud
I've adjusted the shock and fork pre-load on mine to account for my 90KG and it has helped with road handling as does all properly set up suspensions. I think there will be enough pre-load adjustment available to account for your weight. I've not ridden mine on track yet so can't comment on that just yet.
On the M1000R, you have the shock rebound and compression damping electronically adjusted on the display. Unfortunately, you do not have these adjustments for the fork. The fork adjustments is for the rebound and compression combined.
If you require to have independent adjustment on the fork, you will need to install a suspension sensor device that attaches externally to the fork and connects to the loom which will then modify the setings on the display to allow you to independently adjust compression and rebound of the fork. There is only one supplier in Germany.

Thanks for your feedback, 2D sensor looks like a good option. Been reading alot on s1000rr forums for track setup.
    Time to loose some weight!
