    M1000R Re-maps

I had my 2018 S1000R re-mapped in 2022 and it improved it no end. I have since been lucky enough to purchase an M1000R Performance and I regret to mention that its throttle and fuelling is as bad as what my S was. So I got in touch with the guys in Leeds (UK) who did the job on my S and they got back to me telling me that there isn't a re-map available yet because the bike is too new.
Having read through a lot of these forums, I noticed Crowe Performance appeared quite a lot in relation to tuning. I checked out their website and discovered their business happened to be en-route home for me from work in Yorkshire going back to Norfolk. They are based in Lincolnshire and so I popped in to take a look and say hello.
To my surprise, there was an M1000R standing in the workshop with a full Akra Ti exhaust system just been installed and going through a re-map and about to be tested on the dynamometer. So I hung a round, of course and asked a few questions.
They are a BMW specialist and they told me that they are the first in the UK to be able to re-map the M1000R. I had initially contacted them about supply and fit of the front suspension position sensor (which opens up the use of rebound and compression adjustments in the settings menus) ad they can supply and fit them too. In fact, some of the race bikes in the shop had this device fitted.
So if you are in the mindset to have your M1000R or any other BMW machine finely tuned, these are most certainly the guys. Very friendly and the operation is all very professional.
Nightmare to find so I am leaving you with their What3Words location tag:

I believe Brentune has a tune for that bike now
But before you go for it I would look at

Calimototv on youtube. He tuned, piped etc. The motor gave out

    True
But if I understand it correctly, he tracked it before it was even run in.
Whatever the reason, I'm a bit gutted because I wanted to follow his progress with modificatons and stuff, as I am also an owner of this model.

    Hyper-byker,
Did you get any further options on tune from Crowes Performance or any other tuners. Seems like ECU is locked and not many options are available.
