    Cruise control turning off immediately

    Hey everyone,

So I've been having issues with my cruise control. I turn it on and don't even have time to take my hands off of the handlebar, it will immediately turn off.

I have checked the microswitches and both are working well, stock levers.
Quickshifter also works and so do the heated grips.

I'm thinking it's the left hand side switch assembly which may be f'd, but have heard something about the wiring harness shorting somewhere.

A couple of weeks ago I was able to do a few Kms with the cruise control on but that was it.

Any ideas about what the issue may be?
    TIA

do you have any play in your clutch lever?? I had a similar issue, when the engine gets hot play increases, mine had enough play at the lever when hot that the wind would blow the lever back enough to disengage the cc.

this also fixes the cc issue, but will mean that using the clutch will not disengage the cc at all.

No, I've tried riding while holding the clutch lever in place and same results :\
