If you are using aftermarket levers this can be caused by the small tab under the clutch lever either being damaged or not engaging properly

tab is fine.. levers are bmw factory option.. but how would the switch effect the bike stalling anyway. Doesn't it only effect the quickshifter or starting the bike in gear?
    cheers!

I don't have any advice for you, but I just have to say that I love the Acid Green Metallic. That was the color I chose for my RR, too. One of the reasons I loved it was that no Japanese bike would ever have been painted that shade.

Itís acting like the problem might be gas. Maybe obstructed fuel filter or possible vapor lock? Sorry, just a stab in the darkÖ

nah don't think so .. had the bike up on chock stand while running and messed around with the stand.. didn't fault... leaning towards clutch switch  because i always have the clutch in changing down when it happens.. but dont understand how the clutch switch would stall the bike....Prevent it from starting in gear, yes...stop quick shifter from working, yes ... but stalling? anyone enlighten me?

I couldn't tell exactly from the video but it seemed like you may be chopping the throttle at the same time you're pulling in the clutch lever.  That can cause the rpm to drop below target idle speed and cause a bike to stall.

    Hi,

I have the same issue.  My bike is a S1000R 2021 model build date i.e., exit from the plant was Jan 3 2021.

Problem is, sometimes when I am rolling to a stop the engine completely cuts out in a manner like hitting the "stop" switch, it's not a stall just total electronic power to the engine is lost.  Why, cut out?  I hadn't engaged the "stop" switch and as I was rolling foward so then I tried to release the clutch to perform a rolling start the outcome was engine didn't fire! (Like you have engaged the "stop" switch) Now as I was still rolling (at say 3-5kmh) I engaged the starter switch with the clutch disengaged (lever in) and it immediately started up, I then stopped and performed a turn.  Given this, it appears a computer electrical issue or maybe something else (see my post script).  Any further ideas as it has happened five times and spooky when lane filtering.

    Cheers
    ICW

PS: I will check that clutch lever as I know from earlier S1000R (2017) if the bolt holding your clutch lever together is in any way loose you have issues with the micro switches that control clutch and QS.

Sounds nothing less than life threatening. I would take it back to the dealer for warranty claim.
