    RIZOMA LED Wiring

Hello all. I'm hoping someone has sorted this our already or can help!

I have a 2022 (USA) model year and Rizoma Legerra S lights to be wired up. Of course, Rizoma has been no help at all so far. There are 4 wires from the lights and 4 wires from the bike. They have a 3-wire diagram and wiring connector! WTF?

Anyway, I have it sorted where I only use 3 wires, but then during my ride I get the faulty brake single from time to time. I think I need to wire up the last wire... but it messes up the function. Anyone have a solution or know how to sort it?

OK, So I got these working by only connecting 2 of the wires. I haven't ridden it yet because it's still raining, but so far, no warnings on the screen. Do the OEM rear lights flash or strobe with hard breaking? Is there something I'm missing?

Those Rizoma Leggera S lights probably use minimal current draw, so maybe need to try some resistors? they are beautiful bits of kit!

Dude, I've tried resistors but it's a trial and error situation until Rizoma figures out the bike.

Yes, the lights are a work of art and super bright!

No way! I appreciate your suggestion, I just can't figure out the combination.

Apparently the indicator/brake light is only two wire.  A lower voltage is sent to the light for a dimmer appearance and and a higher voltage is sent when braking.  When turn signals are used , the signal goes from flashes from zero volts to full volts and so on.  I found this out the hard way.  I wanted to add Denali indicators on either side of my license plate (as additional lights, wired in parallel with OEM).  During my install I experimented with all the wires and ended up with my summation.  However, due to the CAN bus system, the lights are monitored for current draw and an error came up and shut down my lights entirely.  So, after all that work, I'm back to only the OEM lights.

Sorry about the Denalis, but I got the Rizomas to work with the 2-wire as you mentioned. Works perfectly. Had to heat shrink the other wires and all good! Thanks for posting!
